Libby Mitchell

Libby Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Aotearoa. Having completed an Advanced Diploma of Visual Art in Melbourne, Australia, she now travels New Zealand as a landscape artist, taking inspiration for her Art from the bush and her time working as a landscaper in Northland. Drawing from extensive outdoor sketches and panoramic photographs, Libby's latest painting series encapsulates the essence of Northland's lush bush, inspired by her exploration of New Zealand's emotive landscapes. Utilizing a rich palette and bold brushstrokes, Libby intuitively infuses her work with vibrant colors, establishing a signature style reflective of her strong affinity for color.
