Our artists’ work has been installed in offices and homes like yours since 1973. Original works of art from over a hundred of New Zealand’s finest artists are for sale and hire. New artwork arrives in the gallery every week and a newsletter is sent out to Art Club members once a month with an image of each new artwork, the size, retail and rental price.
About Us – Mobile Art Gallery
The gallery was originally established in Brighton Road, Parnell by Anna Biddell. As it expanded it was relocated to the corner of Alpers and Gillies Ave. It was moved to its current location at 23 Edwin Street, Mt Eden around 2002. The gallery has always maintained a high standard of artwork and has a constantly changing selection of artwork for customers to view. Currently we have over 1,000 artworks in our care from abstract to realism.
While most corporate clients prefer leasing, many residential clients are choosing to lease too. This makes exchanging the art very easy if you alter your decor and avoids having to outlay a large sum of money for a statement piece of art for your home or office. After living with their chosen piece of art for a while, many clients decide that they could never part with it and choose to buy.

About US – Directors
Diana is a graphic designer by trade who started her career in the hurly burly of an ad agency and then upon the arrival of a family she became a freelance operative for a wide range of clients. Over the past few years she has been developing a short-term accommodation business which you can peek into here. This business venture has honed her skills in interior design and the use of artworks to bring living environments to life.
Diana is looking forward to getting to know the artists, the work and to the challenge of working with clients to find the best art solutions for their needs.
Michael started work in an ad agency a few decades ago. He has spent his career in the wider communications business with large chunks of time managing his own businesses and as a consultant. He has had a keen interest in visual and applied art since childhood and has collected quite a bit of art over the years – a lot from artist and gallery owner friends. Along with Diana he established The Blue House short term accommodation business and together they see Mobile Art Gallery as natural extension to this business.
While Michael will have a keen interest in the day to day operation of the business – the work, the artists and the clients – he will primarily focus his energy on the more administrative detail of keeping the business running smoothly.
