Warkworth artist, Pauline Gough, is a self taught, contemporary acrylic and oil painter. Her aim is to paint intuitively and she works quickly in order to maintain a fresh result. Her passion lies in creating vibrant, large-scale paintings with an impasto style, using energetic brushwork and deliberate texture in acrylic. While her preference for statement cow portraits and landscapes is evident in bold works, she also explores textured, smaller pieces using both brush and knife techniques in oil.
