Anne-Marie Jean – Artist

Anne-Marie Jean is currently an artist and art consultant based in Canberra, Australia where she is a PhD candidate at the Australia National University School of Art.  She is also the Publication Manager at “Art Monthly” an Australian magazine.

Art has always played a strong part in Anne-Marie’s life, from her early years where she was a university exchange student at Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris, France and participated in her first exhibition in 1994.  She has continue to exhibit her work in New Zealand and Australia since 1996.  Her love of nature is reflected in works which embody the spirit and colours of the land.

Anne-Marie has strong links to New Zealand and owned an art gallery in Wellington called “Blackmore and Jean” in 2010 to 2012.  She also taught art at “The Learning Connexion School of Art and Creativity” in Wellington.
